Very nice Thai food with a great selection. The service was quick and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone that loves Asian food.
I like the food... but do not sit at the bar and order drinks to wait for takeout! I've done it twice and noticed same thing both times. I put my order in, sat at the bar, ordered a drink. People came in after me, ordered food, got served and ate. I'm still waiting. They obviously do this so that you buy a second (expensive) drink. We order takeout frequently. It is never slow UNLESS we sit at the bar to wait. Other than the we love the food.
One of the better dining options if you are staying at nearby hotel. Relaxed friendly family run service and food.
Great food, great service! Always swing by if I'm in the area.
Great place, family owned. Traditional Thai Food.
This Bangkok Minute Thai Cafe is one of our favorite. Great food.
We get takeout from here frequently, as it's right down the road. It never disappoints. It's always a relaxed and inviting place when We choose to eat there. And we always make sure to get an order of chicken satay. This place should really be busier.
In town for business and a graduation and this is some of the best Thai food I've had in a very long time. The flavors are spot on with what you'd expect. I tried a couple of different dishes between two days and was really impressed. The Ga Pow crazy bowl was amazing with just the right amount of red pepper for a bit of heat and added Thai-style fried egg made it really tasty. The Red Curry bowl was delicious also, with a good balance of flavors. The service was fine, although I was only there for lunch time hours so I'm not sure how it is in the evening when its busier. Highly recommended if you are in the area looking for great Thai food!
Best Thai restaurant in all of Burlington area.Reasonable prices, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Awesome food, no fluff. Would recommend to anyone! Nice place with a friendly atmosphere.
I never expected such a nice, little restaurant on Shelburne Road. The hostess was very friendly and the waitress was great, too. The food was really good as well. I also love the layout with a higher seating area, an outside deck with additional, seasonal seating, and a great bar. Actual glass drinking glasses, steel flatware and China plates are very classy, too. The place is beautifully decorated, too. I love Thai food and will definitely be frequenting them now that I know that they're there.
Good food decent prices. Don't go when it is cold though. Hard to stay warm here
Delicious noodle bowls, cool atmosphere, reasonably-priced, prompt and friendly service. A bit of a shame that I seemed to be their first and only customer for Saturday lunchHowever, great place, would totally recommend!
SO GOOD!Hubby and I are new to town and I was craving Thai food (my favorite type of food). He picked this place, I was unsure when we pulled up because we were the only ones there. We were greeted with smiles, immediately and seated. We ordered the thai dumplings as an appetizer and they did exactly that. I was no longer unsure about this place! So yummy! I ordered the green curry chicken, he ordered the Ga Pow. SO GOOD! Spicy but not too spicy and packed with all the best flavors. I also had the Thai iced tini. So delicious! The best service we have experienced in Burlington and SUPER DELICIOUS. We will be frequenting this establishment often.
Another hidden gem for South Burlington. The atmosphere was quaint and extremely conversational. The food was amazing and the price very reasonable. Host was very polite and inviting. Restaurant was clean. I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying some excellent Thai flavor.
I've only been here a few times but I love their food! Thanks to a friend visiting from out of town for recommending this place. As a local I sometimes forget to be a tourist in my own town and state. This place is a great hole in the wall restaurant and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes Thai food and/or willing to try something new.
I never met a noodle I didn't love and the pad see-ew is a new faviurite. This is the best I've ever had! Portions and prices are reasonable, service is friendly, and the play list is outstanding. If only I didnt live 4 hours away.
Always delicious! Friendly staff and great drinks, too. Great value as well!
Great food and beverages. Good prices and choice of food.
Lovely people. Delicious food!
Fresh food, limited menu, good service and reasonable prices
The food dose take minutes after you order and it tastes like it!
It was a Friday night and the family wanted Thai food. We knew Tiny Thai would be a long wait so we decided to try this place out. We were very impressed with our dishes, pineapple fried rice and pad si ew. The pad si ew felt lighter, cleaner (less oily) and less saltier than Tiny Thai's version. There was also no wait at all. Wife and I will def be coming back here.
Great place. Lots of gluten/dairy free options, curries, etc. I shared a crazy plate with the kids, and there are lots of "extra" sides available that makes it easy to add on some extra chicken or shrimp.
Never disappointed with did or service!
I love the duck dishes. Some of the best Asian food around. Great value, great menu, not expensive. The owners used to have Bangkok bistro on Church St but moved out here. Well worth a visit.
Love the food and the staff is fantastic. If you like tom yum, this is the place. Great specials and great atmosphere. Ten stars!
I had the Pad Thai with beef and it rivals my favorite place in the area, with the incredible flavor. They do it a little bit different, but it is oh so welcome and they have many original awesome looking dishes I would like to return to try in the future. Like their Pad Thai Gyoza for example. I also really loves their sticky rice with custard which I had for dessert. Overall the atmosphere is really nice, clean and cozy. If feels new and well kept. I highly recommend it and will surely be back... plus its one of the very few thai places open on sunday evening in this area.
It was to warm in the place.did not care for the chicken bowl.dont even think it was real chicken.not really in to thai food.just had a few drinks.and left
This was our first time eating Thai food, so we were a bit nervous. We have always heard things on both ends of the spectrum. Either Thai is great food or it makes people sick.Well, we loved it! My husband got a Thai beer and I got Thai iced tea. Mine tasted like a creamisicle dipped in tea. It was so delicious! My husband said his beer tasted like Stella Artois.I ordered the special, Magic Noodles. Delicious! It had a little kick to it, but the noodles were soft and the shrimp was perfect. I loved it!My husband ordered the pineapple fried shrimp. It had huge chunks of squid, and pineapple, and jumbo shrimp. I tried it, and it was awesome. It had a sweet and creamy taste. It was the perfect comfort food!
The food was tasty. Service was friendly, but a bit slow.
Lovely Thai food and it is a short trip from home 🏡.
Everything was really good and not greasy. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and expected to take a lot home, as we often do, but despite large portions we almost finished everything in the restaurant. While some items were similar in name to other Thai restaurants I’ve tried, I found that they had their own little twists on everything, with unique flavors - especially the dumplings.- Steamed Thai dumplings- Chicken sa-tae - Pineapple fried rice- some sort of bowl with ramen noodles and shrimp from the specials board that was awesome
The most AMAZING, AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant in South Burlington, Vermont! Now that I have discovered this Thai treasure, indeed, I will be dining here at least 3 times a week!As a professionally trained Chef from Oregon whose specialty is international cuisine, I am delightfully impressed! My co-worker was from Thailand and would support my positive review! The restaurant is impeccably clean and the caring staff are cheerful and hospitable!THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET in Burlington, Vermont in terms of AUTHENTIC, ETHNIC EAT’S!Best of Luck in the New Year of 2020 to Bangkok Thai Cafe! 🔆
There is no better thai food in Vermont. Bangkok is the best priced, best thai food anywhere in chittenden county for sure. I have been eating there for years, and nobody compares to their cooking, and their cooking style. Always fresh and full of flavor!
I placed a take out order, the lady was very friendly and when I went in to get my food the atmosphere seemed nice. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable for my taste. If you prefer simpler dishes with light sauce it may be worth trying
The flavor is bland, the customer service sucks and the lady threw the money at my husband. Never again!!!!!!
What a wonderful experience to have found such a gem. The food was hot, fresh and so very flavorful. The prices were very reasonable and the service excellent. Thank you for bringing such authentic Thai food to this side of the world. : )
Great Thai food at reasonable prices! Would highly recommend them, despite their non-steady hours and extended family vacations.
Tastes good. Curries are a little on the sweeter side. We ordered Spicy Basil entree, but it tasted more like Masaman curry with no basil in it!!! A dinner for two will cost $30+. Its a $$ restaurant.
Oh my god I love this place! The food is so flavorful because they get their spices from Thailand! THE best Thai food I've had! YUM!
Pretty decent Thai foods
Always friendly service and we have never been disappointed when trying something new! We're proud regulars
Not much flavor for the pad Thai I ordered. The. Hi ken tasted off, old. Overall it tasted cheap and greasy but price were on the higher end for Thai food. There is better Thai in Burlington. Also had severe GI issue after eating the food, which is rare for me. Wouldn’t go back here.
Fantastic food and good value for money. Dumplings and Sate to start with followed by Penang duck special and shrimp Pad thai. Been to Thailand and place can definitely compete!
Great Service, good Thai food.
We were looking for something different for dinner and we're happy to find this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service and food was great. English was definitely a second language for the staff, which is a huge complement and assures me were getting genuine Thai food. The spice was perfect. Veggies big chunks and properly cooked. Portions were appropriate and fair prices. My only suggestion is to serve the entrees with more rice... but if you want more, just ask.
If you are looking for thailand cuisine, and a super relaxed atmosphere, look no further. The owners are also the cooks which translates to, passion in every tasty bite.
In and out in 20 minutes, $10 lunch, lovely spicy food with a large portion. They might have just earned a regular customer
